  • 2022 Freedom Fund Banquet

The annual Freedom Fund Banquet celebrates the advancement and accomplishments made in

social justice in Alamance County over the course of the year. It honors the contributions of

volunteers, freedom fighters and activists who have made great strides to stand up against all

forms of injustice in Alamance County.

The Freedom Fund Banquet is a community event in its truest sense. NAACP members,

community advocacy partners, leaders, reformers, advocates and volunteers will come together

to celebrate those individuals, businesses, and organizations who work to ensure the political,

educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons; and eliminate racial hatred

and racial discrimination in this community.

The Freedom Fund Banquet takes place on Friday, September 30th and will be held at The

Graham Mill, 205 W Harden St, Graham, NC 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Approximately 200

participants will show support to our neighbors who are making a difference in Alamance

County.

Tickets are available starting at $45 per person, an additional support for the branch can be shown by additional donations through one of our patron levels, ranging from $35 to $250. Any donations over $250 will recieve additional recognition. Local businesses, candidates, and others can show their support by purchasing a journal advertisement, ranging from $35 to $100. For those who chose to advertise, please email your advertisement by September 10th.

We thank you all for your support and look forward to many more years of advocacy, fellowship and community building with you in Alamance County.
